Competitive Classes

Once our kids finish the GymStars 6 program they progress to the competitive program of the South African Gymnastic Federation (SAGF)

The program involves structured District, Provincial and National Competitions and Events. Gymnasts need to achieve qualifying scores to attain their district/provincial Colors.

Level 4-6 – Level 4 is the first major compulsory competitive level for boys. Level 4 to Level 6 is a continuation of the compulsory competitive level with training on more advanced skills for girls and boys. GSA Invitational and local sanctioned competitions are attended. Gymnasts receive awards based on scores on each event in their age level and division.

Level 7&8 (for boys) Level 7 and Level 8 is a continuation of the compulsory competitive level with training on more advanced skills for boys. GSA Invitational and local sanctioned competitions are attended. Gymnasts receive awards based on scores on each event in their age level and division.
